Meet Amy.

Amy Pixton

Amy grew up in Altamonte Springs and has called Florida home for over 40 years. She has

been happily married to her high school sweetheart, Robert, since 1995, and they have two incredible sons, Darek and Owen. Amy has dedicated her life to help her sons pursue their passions, whether it was motocross or working on cars, and now Amy is excited to pursue her own with swimsprout.

Amy has been employed at two of New Smyrna Beach’s staple restaurants and is adored by all patrons due to her friendly and welcoming demeanor. When Amy’s not working, she can be found walking on the beach, on the water in her boat, or spending quality time with her loved ones and swimming in her pool.

Amy was introduced to swimsprout through a mutual friend. When Amy realized it combined two of her favorite things, children and the water, she knew she found her calling. Amy has informally taught both of her sons, nephews, and most recently, her great-nephew how to swim. Amy realizes the importance of water safety and is thrilled to use her newfound aquatic survival skills to instill confidence in parents and children alike.

Amy has played many roles in her life: daughter, aunt, motocross mom, sister, wife, and friend. With each role, she has gained and shown grace, strength, and patience; all of which will reflect positively in her role as a swimsprout instructor.
